Job summary

Nidec Minster is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for the 1st shift on weekends to maintain a secure and welcoming environment. The role includes monitoring access, patrolling the facility, reporting incidents, and assisting employees and guests during assigned hours from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

The position emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and the ability to operate basic security systems and computers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Driver's license required.
• Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Capable of walking long distances while securing the facility.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use basic computer programs and security systems.
• Previous security, military, manufacturing, or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

This position monitors facility access, performs routine property checks, and serves as a visible presence during assigned shifts. The hours for this position are 8:00am - 4:00pm.
