Job summary

E.A. Sween Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Weekend Overnight shift in Eden Prairie, MN. The role runs Friday-Sunday from 10:00 PM to 10:30 AM, with optional overtime.

Compensation ranges from $28 to $33 per hour, plus a $1.50 shift differential. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is paid in three installments on the next checks following the schedule. Responsibilities include setting up equipment for production, performing PMs, coordinating with the maintenance team, and supporting

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with CMMS, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Able to manage time and workload efficiently.
• Basic fluid power and electrical knowledge; able to read a multimeter.
• Know-how with hand tools, power tools and shop equipment.
• Experience with packaging/labeling equipment is a plus (Multivac, Labelers, Weber slicers).
• Welding experience preferred; food safety environment experience strongly preferred.
• Two years of Production Line Mechanic/Technician experience or equivalent education/production background.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is set up for upcoming production runs.
• Confirm PMs are completed for all line equipment.
• Assist maintenance techs with line PMs and non-production PMs.
• Complete all PM tasks and maintain tool carts.
• Utilize Redzone to manage communications and workload.
• Assist second shift with teardown after production.
• Support sanitation with maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on production equipment as required.
