Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on the weekend program. You will assess patient needs, develop care plans, provide direct perioperative care, and support an environment focused on safety and compassionate service.

The role requires Kentucky RN licensure, 1 year OR experience, BLS (and ACLS/PALS/NRP as required), and the ability to lead and delegate to techs and support staff. On-call weekends/holidays rotate.

Qualifications

• Must possess Kentucky RN licensure.
• BLS certification required; obtain within 30 days if not held.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class as required by department.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ needs and develop care plans.
• Provide direct perioperative care before, during, and after surgery.
• Demonstrate leadership and delegate appropriate work to staff.
• Support quality care and maintain a healing environment.
• On-call weekends/holidays as rotated.
