Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Clinical Coordinator – Service Line Coordinator for the Gift of Life ICU at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of OR nursing experience, a PA nursing license, and a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Three years of OR nursing experience; CNOR certification preferred.
• Graduate of NLN-approved nursing program and currently licensed as a nurse in PA.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Committed to leadership, patient-centered care, and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop or assist in policies and procedures to meet licensing/regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate educational programs to support quality of care in the department.
• Lead daily operational workflows within the operating teams.
• Ensure excellent patient care and outcomes through proactive planning.
• Act as clinical expert within the service line and be accountable for service line results.
• Mentor staff and collaborate with Nurse Manager to improve performance.
