Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking an RN Charge in the Main OR to oversee unit operations Saturday through Monday, 6:30am–7:00pm, with no on-call. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible experienced OR RNs, and the role focuses on staffing, scheduling, and patient care coordination within the surgical wing.

The position requires 1–2 years of OR nursing experience, an active RN license, and BLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience in the OR.
• RN license in state (or Compact State).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing and support staff.
• Monitor staffing and productivity on the weekend shift.
• Coordinate patient care and care plans with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and compliance with policies.
