Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking a dedicated RN Charge in the Main OR to oversee operations on a 6:00–14:30 day shift, Monday through Friday. You’ll supervise staff, coordinate care, and ensure compliance while supporting surgeons and scheduling for high-acuity procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in the OR.
• RN licensure in state or compact state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff on shift.
• Evaluate staff performance and coach for high-quality care.
• Oversee patient care planning and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with healthcare teams and departments.
• Monitor patient flow and manage bed assignments.
• Lead shift handoffs, unit huddles and safety practices.
