McKnight Place Assisted Living and Memory Care in Missouri is hiring a Weekend Option Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) to lead nursing care for residents in a memory care environment. This on-site role requires coordinating with CNAs, CMTs, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, patient-centered care.

The position requires an active Missouri RN/LPN license and at least 1 year of memory care experience.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN or LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year RN/LPN experience in memory care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary.
• Able to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

As a Weekend Option Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) at McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional, compassionate, and person-centered care. In this position, you’ll provide nursing care, support and guide CNAs and CMTs, and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. Working collaboratively with staff, residents, and families, you’ll help promote the highest quality of care while preserving each resident’s dignity, independence, and overall well-being.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care that supports each resident's individual needs, comfort, and well-being.

• Oversee daily nursing activities and ensure residents receive safe, timely, and appropriate care.

• Lead, support, and collaborate with CNAs, CMTs, and interdisciplinary team members to maintain exceptional standards of care.

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and nursing standards.

• Coordinate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, notes, and medication records.

• Maintain clear, professional, and effective communication with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Schedule:

• Every Saturday and Sunday

• 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm) or (7pm-7am)

Position Requirements:

• A valid unencumbered Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License is required.

• At least1 year of Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience in a Memory Care setting is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skillsto build meaningful connections with staff, residents, and families.

• Ability to read, write, and speak Englisheffectively.

• Reliable transportation is required.
