McKnight Place Extended Care, part of The Gatesworth Communities, is seeking an RN Nurse Supervisor to lead the clinical team in our luxury senior living community in St. Louis.

You will supervise Charge Nurses, CNAs, CMTs, and Restorative Aides, mentor staff, and ensure safe, person-centered resident care on every shift. Join a compassionate leadership team focused on clinical excellence, infection prevention, medication management, and adherence to state regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical LTC experience.
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership guidance and support to Nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, CMTs).
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care and safety.
• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism.
• Collaborate with DON/ADON and interdisciplinary team.
• Support infection prevention, medication management, and QA initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and policies.
• Assist with admissions, assessments, and clinical documentation.
• Serve as clinical leader during shifts and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities Overview:

As an RN Nurse Supervisor, you'll lead by example, help mentor the clinical team, and make sure every resident receives safe, exceptional, person-centered care in a supportive, collaborative environment.

This is a floor-level leadership role. You'll provide direct supervision to Charge Nurses, CNAs, CMTs, and Restorative Aides, serve as the clinical bridge between frontline staff and the DON/ADON, and make sure every shift runs safely, smoothly, and to standard.

What You'll Do:

• Provide leadership guidance and support to Charge Nurses (RNs and LPNs), CNAs, and CMTs.

• Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care and safety, and ensure quality standards are met.

• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns with professionalism and compassion.

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Support infection prevention, medication management, and quality assurance initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with state regulations, community policies, and clinical standards.

• Assist with admissions, assessments, incident investigations, and clinical documentation as needed.

• Serve as the clinical leader and decision-maker during the shift, responding appropriately to emergencies and resident care needs.

Position Requirements:

• Valid, unencumbered Missouri RN license required

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in long-term care (LTC)

• Supervisory experience strongly preferred

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and team leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

• Availability for rotating weekends and holidays as needed
