Job summary

McKnight Place Assisted Living is hiring a Day Shift Assisted Living Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) in Missouri. This role oversees resident care, supports the caregiving team, and ensures high-quality nursing services in a luxury senior living setting.

Schedule includes 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm) with full-time or part-time options and competitive pay. Strong communication, reliability, and a MO nursing license are required for this rewarding position.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN or LPN license (unencumbered).
• At least 1 year of RN/LPN experience in Assisted Living preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care aligned with each resident's needs.
• Oversee daily nursing activities and ensure safe, timely care.
• Lead and collaborate with CNAs, CMTs, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policies.
• Coordinate with physicians and families to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and records.

Position Overview:

As an Assisted Living Charge Nurse (RN or LPN), you'll oversee resident care, support your caregiving team, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors living in a luxury Assisted Living setting.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care that supports each resident's individual needs, comfort, and well-being.

• Oversee daily nursing activities and ensure residents receive safe, timely, and appropriate care.

• Lead, support, and collaborate with CNAs, CMTs, and interdisciplinary team members to maintain exceptional standards of care.

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and nursing standards.

• Coordinate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, notes, and medication records.

• Maintain clear, professional, and effective communication with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

• Monday to Friday

• Rotating weekends

• 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm)

Competitive Pay:

$32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Flexible Hours:

• Part-Time: 12 – 32 hours per week

• Full-Time: 32 – 40 hours per week

Position Requirements:

• A valid unencumbered Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License is required.

• At least1 year of Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience in an Assisted Living setting is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skillsto build meaningful connections with staff, residents, and families.

• Ability to read, write, and speak Englisheffectively.

• Reliable transportation is required.
