McKnight Place Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a Day Shift Memory Care Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) to oversee resident care in a dementia-focused setting. This role supports caregivers, coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, and ensures high-quality, compassionate service for seniors with Alzheimer's and related conditions.

Full-time and part-time positions are available. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm, with a competitive hourly rate of $32.00–$35.00 and

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri RN or LPN license required.
• Minimum 1 year RN/LPN experience in Memory Care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate nursing care tailored to each resident's needs.
• Oversee daily nursing activities and ensure timely, safe care.
• Lead CNAs and interdisciplinary team to maintain care standards.
• Administer medications per physician orders and policies.

Position Overview:

As a Memory Care Charge Nurse (RN or LPN), you'll oversee resident care, support your caregiving team, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. You'll assess resident needs, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, and serve as a trusted resource for residents, families, and fellow caregivers. Your commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional customer service helps create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our Memory Care community.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care that supports each resident's individual needs, comfort, and well‑being.
• Oversee daily nursing activities and ensure residents receive safe, timely, and appropriate care.
• Lead, support, and collaborate with CNAs, CMTs, and interdisciplinary team members to maintain exceptional standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and nursing standards.
• Coordinate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, notes, and medication records.
• Maintain clear, professional, and effective communication with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

Full‑time and Part‑time positions available

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• 12‑hour shifts (7am-7pm)

Competitive Pay:

$32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Flexible Hours:

• Part‑Time: 12 – 32 hours per week
• Full‑Time: 32 – 40 hours per week

Position Requirements:

• A valid unencumbered Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License is required.
• At least1 year of Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience in a Memory Care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skillsto build meaningful connections with staff, residents, and families.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Englisheffectively.
• Reliable transportation is required.
