Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the weekend night shift in Alamo, TN.

You will oversee a team of production employees, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and on schedule to meet customer commitments and plant goals. This role combines hands-on leadership with operational excellence, driving performance, optimizing resources, and reinforcing a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years manufacturing experience; OR associate degree with 4+ years; OR high school diploma/GED with 8+ years.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
• Supervise, train, and assign work to production employees.
• Monitor and achieve KPIs including safety, delivery, and productivity.
• Schedule work, track progress, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Address production, technical, and logistics challenges.
• Analyze performance data to improve operations and reduce rework.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
• Manage timekeeping and maintain accurate employee records.
• Coach team members, resolve conflicts, and build engagement.
