The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is looking for a Weekend Machine Shop Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in Alamo, Tennessee. In this role, you will help your team work safely, meet production goals, and achieve on-time delivery. You will coach team members, solve daily production challenges, and help improve how work gets done. You will also gain experience leading people, managing priorities, and supporting continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

How You’ll Make An Impact
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Assign daily work and support team member training.
- Monitor machine utilization, efficiency, scrap rates and OEE
- Review and enter hourly team member time records.
- Resolve production, technical, and material flow issues.
- Use production data to answer questions and support decisions.
- Coach team members and support clear communication across the team.
- Address workplace concerns and help resolve conflict effectively.
- Model safety, integrity, and care for your colleagues.
- Deliver high level of quality in the parts being machined
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling programming and equipment issues.
Your Background
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least five years of experience in CNC machining operations.
- At least two years of experience leading a CNC machine shop team.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to set priorities and work with limited supervision.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Experience with G code programming and editing
