Azura Palliative Care and Hospice is seeking a compassionate RN to provide on-call coverage every other weekend, Friday through Sunday, in the Madison and Verona area. This role is ideal for a nurse seeking supplemental income and growth with a family-owned Wisconsin-based hospice provider.

You will respond to patient needs, manage symptoms, and deliver skilled nursing care in homes and memory care communities, coordinating with physicians and the hospice team.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license in good standing.
• Availability for on-call coverage every other weekend, Friday through Sunday.
• Hospice, palliative care, home health, or strong medical-surgical experience preferred.
• We will train the right nurse with a heart for hospice.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and comfort working independently.

Responsabilités

• Respond to patient and family needs during on-call weekend, including phone support and in-person visits.
• Provide symptom management, admissions, and death visits as needed.
• Deliver skilled nursing care in patients' homes, assisted living, and memory care communities.
• Educate and support families while coordinating care with the team and physicians.
