Job summary

Care Initiatives Hospice is seeking a compassionate RN to provide comprehensive hospice care at home, in long-term care, or hospital settings. This RN on-call weekend package ensures personalized support for patients and families during their most vulnerable times.

Requirements include an active RN license, a minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, CPR certification, and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• RN with two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Patient, family, and caregiver support with patience and empathy.
• Willingness to provide care in facility and patient home settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice nursing care at home, in long-term care, or hospital during the on-call weekend.
• Respond to emergent needs and support patients and families during times of greatest need.
• Administer meds and offer teaching to ensure comfort for pain, dyspnea, dying/transitioning, or end-of-life care with compassion.
