Job summary

Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center is seeking weekend nursing supervisors for 3p-11p and 11p-7a shifts. Weekly pay ranges from $41 to $52, including shift differentials, and depends on the shift. Roles may be filled by either an LPN or RN.

Key responsibilities include overseeing nursing staff, updating care plans, administering medications, and ensuring adherence to physician orders and regulations.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital or long-term care.
• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Strong assessment and restorative nursing knowledge.
• Ability to make independent decisions and supervise staff.
• Knowledge of nursing procedures and long-term care regulations.
• Leadership and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet residents' nursing and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop, update, and communicate care plans.
• Oversee Charge Nurse and CNA performance.
• Administer medications per procedures.
• Document nursing notes and assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date resident care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate physician orders.
• Promote positive resident and family relations.
