Job summary

Springside Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Pittsfield, MA, is seeking a Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN) for Saturdays and Sundays from 7 AM to 7 PM. The role involves welcoming admissions, supervising weekend staff, and ensuring high-quality resident care.

Applicants must hold a MA RN or LPN license with CPR, plus 2 years of clinical nursing experience (1 year in long-term care preferred) and supervision/teaching skills; computer proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN or LPN license and CPR certification required.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience; at least one year in long-term care preferred.
• Experience in supervision and teaching; computer skills required.
• Rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise Weekend RN, LPN, and CNA staff.
• Respond to family inquiries in a timely manner.
• Ensure high-quality resident/patient care at all times.
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.

Requirements for Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN)

• Must possess valid unencumbered, Massachusetts RN or LPN License and current CPR certification.

• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care

• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills

• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
