Job summary
Harbor House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Weekend Nursing Supervisor to lead Saturdays and Sundays. Located in a welcoming neighborhood setting in Hingham, MA, the facility values compassionate, high-quality resident care.
The Weekend Nursing Supervisor will welcome new admissions, oversee discharges, supervise nurses and CNAs, manage staffing changes, and support families while coordinating referrals with central admissions.
Qualifications
- Must hold valid unencumbered RN or LPN license and CPR certification.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in hospital or long-term care; at least 1 year in LTC.
- Experience in supervision, teaching, and basic computer skills.
- Experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
- Supervise nurses and CNAs.
- Manage staffing changes.
- Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
- Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
- Ensure high quality resident/patient care.
- Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.
