• Manages daily activities to ensure effective operations and communications and that departments remain in compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Supervises and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of patient care.
• Reviews nursing care plans and guides staff to modify plans as needed.
• Coordinates on-call responsibilities and maintains confidentiality of information.
• Develops and participates in continuing education and orientation programs.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and communicates with managers.
