Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care under a physician’s plan of care and in accordance with state standards. You will supervise staff, coordinate patient care, and support safe, efficient hospital operations.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Nursing, 4 years of RN experience in acute care, and PA RN license. Weekend shift, onsite at 2024 Lehigh St, 7:00am-7:30pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• 4 years of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient rights.
• Strong clinical data analytic skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily activities to ensure effective operations and communications.
• Supervises and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of patient care.
• Reviews and monitors nursing care plans and updates as needed.
• Coordinates on-call responsibilities and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Develops and participates in continuing education and orientation programs.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and reports to management.
• Participates in professional advisory committees and infection prevention teams.
• Creates a caring, welcoming environment for new employees.
• Maintains open communication and provides feedback to staff.
