Qualifications

• RN or LPN license current and valid in the state of employment.
• 1–2 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience is required.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing staff and units during weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
• Provide clinical leadership, support, and guidance to staff across the building.
• Make rounds to monitor resident care, staff performance, and operations.
• Serve as the primary weekend contact for families, physicians, and staff.
• Ensure staffing levels are adequate and reassign staff to maintain coverage.
