Vivo Healthcare Gateway is seeking a compassionate Nurse Weekend Supervisor to join our leadership team and provide clinical oversight during weekend shifts every other weekend in a 120-bed skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on guidance, regulatory compliance, and maintaining high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN or LPN license with CPR certification, strong communication and leadership abilities, and prior supervisory experience in long‑term care.

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license in Florida.
• CPR certification.
• Strong communication and clinical skills.
• Experience in long-term care is a plus.
• Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and ensure high-quality care during weekend shifts.
• Serve as primary clinical contact for weekend staff, residents and families.
• Conduct clinical rounds and assist with resident care as needed.
• Coordinate admissions and discharges on weekends.
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust as necessary.
• Address and resolve clinical issues or incidents.
• Ensure accurate, complete and timely documentation.
• Support and mentor nursing staff to foster a positive work environment.
