Job summary

Vivo Healthcare University in Jacksonville, Florida, seeks an experienced RN/LPN Weekend Supervisor to lead our nursing team on weekends and ensure high-quality resident care. Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with current applicable federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies and procedures
• Reviewing complaints and grievances made or filed by staff and reporting to the Director of Nursing as required
• Maintaining an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, equipment, and notifying appropriate personnel of needs
• Assisting in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident
• Making nursing/aide assignments as indicated
• Encouraging staff to attend and participate in outside training programs and scheduling times as appropriate
• Reviewing nurses' notes to ensure they are informative and descriptive of the nursing care being provided
