Job summary

Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement in Nashville area seeks a part-time Nurse Practitioner for weekend coverage. Provide primary and family care, perform administrative duties, manage patient flow, and collaborate with a clinical care team to maintain high-quality continuity of care.

Required: active FNP license, 1 year in family medicine, DOT within 30 days, BLS, and immunization duties. 15 hours/week, pay range $41.85–$90.13/hour with potential bonus. Remote options not indicated.

Qualifications

• Holds active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• Minimum one year as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine or primary care.
• Experience delivering holistic, evidence-based care including pregnancies and STI education.
• Ability to order vaccines and injections with counseling.
• DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
• Experience or ability to communicate in additional languages including Spanish.
• Basic Life Support certification with CPR and AED.
• Must pass fit test and wear respirator when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
• Perform administrative duties: opening/closing clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, environment upkeep.
• Handle patient appointments and routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
• Discuss healthy lifestyle choices with patients and coordinate with other professionals for comprehensive care.
• Encourage patient participation in screenings, behavioral health, wellness, and chronic condition management.
