Job summary

Focus Healthcare of Tennessee LLC seeks a Nurse Practitioner for PRN weekend coverage with possible weekday needs. The provider will assess patients, order and interpret tests, diagnose conditions, and initiate treatment within established protocols.

The role requires a Tennessee NP license, prescriptive authority with DEA, and current CPR. Expect to collaborate with the Medical Director and Nursing leadership while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold Tennessee NP licensure and prescriptive authority including DEA privileges.
• CPR certification must be current.
• Completion of an approved NP program with master’s level education.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record health histories; perform comprehensive H&Ps per policy.
• Diagnose, treat and plan health care within scope of practice.
• Prescribe medications per protocols; utilize facility formulary.
• Provide patient care with minimal supervision and adapt to unit needs.
• Document teaching, discharge planning and patient progress.
