Job summary

TeamHealth seeks a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Pinehurst, North Carolina. This part-time weekend opportunity (2 days/week; 1–4 weekends per month) offers autonomy, support, and earning potential in skilled nursing facilities.

Compensation is fee-for-service with an estimated range of $25,000–$60,500 annually and no cap on productivity income. Onboarding includes a 3-month program and dedicated clinical mentor for a smooth

Qualifications

Hold NP or PA license (State of North Carolina) and DEA.
Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams.
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach.
Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies.
Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
