Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Pinehurst, North Carolina. This is a part-time (weekend) opportunity (2 days/week; 1 to 4 weekends per month) rounding in skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential.

Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $25,000 - $60,500 annually and no cap on productivity income potential.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in North Carolina with DEA license.
• New grads welcome to apply; post-acute, acute, ED or clinic settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physical exams.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team-based approach.
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
