Job summary

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that serves the country’s largest wireless providers and other major networks. The Local - Home Daily driving role works Logan, NJ with overtime opportunities and weekly incentives.

The position requires a valid CDL, clean driving record, and strong dependability. You will inspect, load, and secure cargo, maintain logs, and ensure DOT compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience or willing to complete a company driving training program.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively.
• Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.

Duties And Responsibilities

Preferred Skills And Experience

• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary
• Flexible early morning shifts
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods

DOT Medical Card Requirement
