Job summary

CTDI is hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver for LOCAL routes in Logan, NJ, HOME DAILY with overtime available. You will drive a small box truck to transport cargo within the local area, complete vehicle inspections, and ensure cargo is loaded and secured while maintaining DOT compliance and safety.

This full-time, on-site role offers $25.12 per hour, 40–50 hours weekly, weekly pay every Thursday, and company benefits including health and vision insurance, 401(k), life and disability insurance,

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent commercial delivery driving experience or willingness to complete a company training program.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel logs, daily logs, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• Ensure cargo is loaded, checked, and secured during transit.
• Assist with or oversee loading and unloading of cargo.
• Acquire signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitor the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Provide professional customer service and represent CTDI positively.
• Follow all Federal and State DOT regulations and warehouse safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

Logan, NJ

We are currently hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver (also known as Box Truck Driver, Local Delivery Driver, or Straight Truck Driver) to drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area.

Non-CDL Truck Driver - LOCAL - HOME DAILY - OVER-TIME AVAILABLE

• Position: Non-CDL Truck Driver
• Weekend Shift: Saturday through Wednesday 3:00AM – 11:30AM
• Pay: $25.12 per hour
• Hours: 40-50 hours per week
• Overtime: 40-50 hours per week
• Pay Schedule: Weekly paycheck (every Thursday)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively.
• Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experienceor willing to complete a company driving training program
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
• Strong commitment to customer service

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary
• Flexible early morning shifts
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods

DOT Medical Card Requirement
