Job summary

CTDI in the United States is seeking a Non-CDL Truck Driver to operate a small truck, load and unload cargo, and ensure safe transit on a four-day-per-week rotating schedule. Shifts run 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM, with pre- and post-trip inspections, documentation, and customer-focused service.

A high school diploma and 2+ years of delivery-driving experience are preferred. CTDI offers weekly pay, a monthly incentive, and comprehensive benefits including health, vision, 401(k), life and disability

Qualifications

• 2+ years of delivery-driving experience or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and valid state license.
• Good communication and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle before and after trips and complete required logs.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo and verify bills of lading.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with DOT regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent CTDI positively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Non-CDL Truck Driver will drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area.

Shift: 9:00PM - 9:00AM

Alternate routes are assigned, and you will typically drive four days per week on a rotating schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
• Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
• Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
• Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
• Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
• Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively.
• Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
• Strong commitment to customer service

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 85 lbs., if necessary
• Flexible shifts with the capability to undertake overnight trips 1-2 nights per week
• Comfortable sitting for extended periods
