Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA, seeks a Warehouse Lead to guide day-to-day operations on the Rice Distribution Center shift Friday to Sunday 5:30PM-5:30AM. You’ll work with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure safe, efficient, on-time deliveries and lead a team on the floor.

Qualifications

Leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
Forklift certification and operation experience.
Experience with RF scanners and inventory systems.
Ability to lead a shift and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day warehouse operations and support supervisor.
Oversee case-picking accuracy, productivity, and efficiency.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and coordinate with replenishment/outbound teams.
Validate orders and ensure proper system entry and deliveries.
Monitor trailer assignments, cube utilization, and shift flow.
Train associates on picking systems, RF scanners, and safety procedures.
Provide leadership coverage across shifts and act as supervisor when needed.
Maintain food safety and warehouse safety standards at all times.
