Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead operations on the weekend night shift in Alamo, TN. You will guide a team of production employees, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and on schedule to meet customer commitments and operational goals.

You will monitor KPIs, schedule work, and adjust priorities while coaching team members and driving continuous improvement. Strong leadership, lean manufacturing knowledge, and clear communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years manufacturing experience; OR associate degree with 4+ years; OR high school diploma/GED with 8+ years.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
• Supervise, train, and assign work to production employees
• Monitor and achieve KPIs including safety, delivery, and productivity
