Job summary
AESC US LLC in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the weekend night shift (Friday–Sunday) to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced manufacturing equipment at a battery gigafactory. You will work hands-on with PLCs, robotics, and electrical systems to ensure smooth production.
You will mentor less experienced technicians, develop preventive maintenance procedures, and contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in industrial maintenance technology, mechatronics, machine tool technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years working with PLCs.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility-related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery including PLCs, robotics, electrical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic components.
- Program and maintain PLCs (Omron and Siemens preferred).
- Assist installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
- Maintain CMMS logs and maintenance records.
