Job summary

FIXX Energy LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our Smyrna, TN facility. This full-time, on-site role operates on the night shift to maintain uptime of the plant and ensure a safe, compliant environment.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, monitor humidity and dew point sensors, and support HVAC, piping, and electrical systems essential for high-volume battery production. A background in industrial maintenance is required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree is preferred.
2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience with large infra-structure equipment.
Electrical proficiency with 480V 3-phase power and schematics.
HVAC/R and climate control experience in industrial settings.
Familiarity with process piping and DI water / compressed air systems.
Basic PLC/BMS knowledge for facility health monitoring.
Ability to read and interpret building drawings and SOPs.
Strong computer skills and adherence to ISO/environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
Conduct rounds to verify dew point and humidity sensors meet tolerances.
Maintain safety compliance with ISO 14001, OSHA, and LOTO protocols.
Assist with 480V motor replacements and electrical troubleshooting.
Repair piping and install new utility drops for production equipment.
Manage CMMS work orders, inventory, and asset history.
Monitor and service HVAC, chillers, and wastewater equipment to prevent Downtime.
Respond to facility emergencies and ensure safety protocols are followed.
