Job summary
Beacon Health System is seeking a part-time Weekend Alternative Registered Nurse for Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. This role features a dedicated weekend schedule with added compensation for weekend hours.
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care, assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized plans, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, compassionate, quality care for all patients.
Qualifications
- RN license in Indiana required.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Within 5 years obtain BSN or certification in specialty area.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-risk, high-frequency nursing procedures per standards.
- Prioritize patient care activities based on acuity and needs.
- Identify and respond to health risks with appropriate actions.
- Develop, revise and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Ensure continuity of care and document interventions and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with team and delegate tasks while maintaining accountability.
- Support peers through mentoring and role modeling, and advocate for patients and families.
