Beacon Health System is hiring a Weekend Alternative, full-time day shift Registered Nurse (RN) for the Ortho/Neuro Trauma Department at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. The role features dedicated weekend hours with premium pay incentives.

The RN will provide professional nursing care, assess and plan patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Indiana RN license required.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN or certification within 5 years preferred.
• Willingness to work weekend day shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services in Ortho/Neuro Trauma Department.
• Assess patient needs and initiate and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the patient record.
• Mentor and support peers through role modeling and precepting.
• Advocate for patients and families to ensure appropriate care and outcomes.
