Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for weekend night shifts in the ED Observation unit in Clermont, FL. The role requires flexible availability Friday–Sunday from 7:00pm–7:00am with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

Graduate of an approved nursing program, Florida RN license, BLS, and 1 year of RN experience are required. ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for select areas; preceptor/leadership duties possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC required for certain areas; NRP for NICU.
• 1 year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and develops care plans based on progress.
• Promotes cultural competency and teamwork among staff, patients and families.
• Advocates for patients and families in the care process.
• Coordinates and delegates care among team members for defined patient groups.
• Documents care in compliance with regulatory standards and unit protocols.
