Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Step-Down Unit on a full-time weekend nights schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon, 7pm–7am). The unit is a new 24-bed Medicine unit with real-time charting and EPIC integration.

Requirements include RN degree, Virginia RN license, and BLS within 90 days of hire; prior RN experience preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• RN Degree is required.
• Virginia RN license is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care and health promotion for patients in the Step-Down Unit.

Education
