Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Diagnostic Imaging team at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix. The role involves performing specialized radiographic procedures in a fast-paced, surgical environment and supporting imaging in Hybrid ORs and related facilities.

The position requires ARRT certification, state licensure where applicable, and a minimum of two years of related experience, with BLS certification and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT national certification and state licensure if applicable; BLS certification is required.
• This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare imaging cart for OR procedures per department/OR policies.
• Educate patients and families about procedures; maintain professional conduct.
• Perform radiographic procedures per department policies and ARRT/MRTBE guidelines.
• Operate and sanitize imaging equipment (Hybrid OR, O‑Arm, C‑Arms) between cases.
• Produce high-quality images and maintain accurate documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and communicate with the surgical team to minimize impact.
• Uphold radiation safety and dosimetry; educate staff on safety in the OR.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional responsibilities in radiology practice.
• Assist in onboarding new intra-operative technologists.
