Job summary

Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix is seeking a Weekend Radiology Technologist Intraop to join the Diagnostic Imaging team. The role involves specialized radiographic procedures in operative settings, collaboration with OR staff, and ensuring high-quality imaging while adhering to radiation safety standards.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with weekend and night shifts, offering differential pay and opportunities for cross-training in multiple imaging modalities.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Requires national certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and state licensure if applicable.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed radiographic procedures in a surgical/operative setting under policy and ARRT/MRTBE guidelines.
• Operates imaging equipment (Hybrid OR, O‑Arm, C‑Arms) and ensures sterility and infection prevention.
• Communicates with OR team and prepares quality images with proper documentation.
• Maintains radiation safety and dosimetry awareness in active operative settings.
• Provides onboarding support for new intra-operative technologists.
