Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program.
• National ARRT certification and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically 1 year of radiology experience.
• Effective communication, human relations, data analysis and problem solving required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines.
• Educates patients/families about procedures and risks; demonstrates professional conduct.
• Produces high quality images and maintains documentation.
• Ensures safety and maintains equipment quality control as needed.
• Monitors inventory to avoid service interruption.
