Job summary

Banner Health in Sun City West, Arizona seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures across inpatient, outpatient, ED, OR and fluoroscopy. You will verify orders, identify patients, and produce high-quality radiographic images supporting each patient’s plan of care.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure if applicable, BLS, and at least 1 year of clinical radiology experience. Weekend shift with day hours benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program.
• Requires ARRT national certification and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Clinical knowledge typically achieved with 1 year of experience.
• Effective communication, human relations, data analysis and problem solving are essential.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines.
• Educates patients/families regarding procedures and risk factors.
• Produces high quality images and maintains accurate documentation.
• Maintains equipment and safety standards; troubleshoots as needed.
