Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a skilled, compassionate Property Maintenance team member to join a caring community. You’ll help ensure our living environments are secure and well maintained, delivering person-centered care in a supportive setting.

The Part-time Weekend Night Shift runs Friday and Saturday nights from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with potential additional day shifts during the week. Pay starts at $20.00 per hour and increases with experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks with an attitude of excellent customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and dependable with strong work ethic.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, walk long distances and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Making rounds to ensure the Community is secure.
• Cleaning stairwells and other areas.
• Emptying apartment trash and recycling.
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets.
• Setting up meeting rooms for events.
• Delivering newspapers.
• Follow up as required for independent living pull cord notifications and smoke detectors.
• General maintenance to ensure a safe and operationally sound community.
