Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a Part‑Time Maintenance worker in Ohio to provide a clean, safe environment for residents, guests and staff. The role includes Saturday rotation and holiday rotation, with starting pay at $13.00/hour, advancing with experience.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to policies, and respectful interaction with residents and families while maintaining high-quality care standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous Housekeeping and/or Laundry experience in long‑term care preferred; positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Cleans furnishings, fixtures, ledges, windows, heating/cooling units, etc. by washing, dusting, or polishing as scheduled or assigned.
• Cleans floors by sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping or damp/wet mopping as scheduled or assigned.
• Empties trash, cleans trash receptacles and transports trash to proper area.
• Reports burned out light bulbs, broken or defective equipment, other maintenance concerns, pest control problems and other unsafe or unsanitary conditions to supervisor.
• Interacts positively with residents, family members, guests and personnel.
• Follows all established policies, procedures and regulations to assure that quality resident care is maintained.
• Communicates, coordinates and cooperates with other team members.
• Maintains resident rights and confidentiality.

Recipient will work Part Time and Saturday rotation (about once a month) and on holiday rotation. Pay: Starting at $13.00/hr, increases with experience.
