Job summary

GEOTEK seeks a Material Handler at our Stewartville facility to move materials, receive and issue parts to the production floor, and maintain accurate stock locations for your programs. You will ensure material availability while upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Requires a HS diploma, 2+ years in shipping/receiving, and forklift experience; RF scanners are preferred. Weekend nights offer a $3 differential; competitive hourly pay in this manufacturing roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2+ years shipping/receiving experience.
• Ability to identify components quickly and accurately.
• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
• Good organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills; forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments and load outbound shipments.
• Pull parts from stock to build orders for the floor.
• Receive and backfill finished products and transact manufacturing orders.
• Maintain material balances and perform cycle counts.
• Follow forklift charging policies and complete daily logs.
• Support safety, quality, and productivity goals.
