Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the Neonatology team on a part-time basis. The role offers 24 hours per week with day shifts, weekend coverage 5a–5p, and holiday rotation.

You will assess and manage newborn patients, order and interpret tests, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care, while documenting thoroughly in the EMR.

Formación

• Active PA license in state of practice; NCCPA certification.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant; 0 years experience minimum.
• Experience requirements listed as no experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans appropriate for age and condition.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies; prescribe interventions.
• Provide health promotion and patient education for patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; refer to physicians when needed.
• Document in EMR; ensure compliant coding and billing.
• Participate in quality, safety, education, and committee activities.
• Maintain productivity and quality metrics for safe patient care.
