Compensation ranges from $59 to $88.50 per hour, with benefits eligible and full-time status. The role requires DEA eligibility, NP/PA licensure in the state, and board-certified or eligible credentials.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
• Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of employment.
• Eligible for prescriptive authority through the Board of Nursing or Medical Board where required.
• BLS certification required with expiration date more than 90 days from start date.
• Nurse Practitioner or PA doctoral-level education is required.
• RN license required to practice.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and daily assessments.
• Records findings of examinations, assessments, and care plans.
• Performs a wide range of surgical and/or medical procedures.
• Writes prescriptions and administers medications.
• Orders and interprets laboratory and radiology examinations.
• Determines treatment plans and documents encounters in the medical record.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and prioritization in care delivery.
• Acts as patient advocate and participates in group meetings and policy development.
