The Foley Museums & Heritage Department is seeking a Museum Attendant to provide visitor services and operational support. The role primarily works Saturdays at the Foley Railroad Museum and may fill in on weekdays at Foley Railroad Museum or Holmes Medical Museum, helping with guest services, gift shop operations, and event train prep.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience; a valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in a related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background check.

Responsabilidades

• Greets visitors and provides information about exhibits and hours.
• Operates gift shop POS and processes transactions accurately.
• Assists with boarding passengers and monitors safety on the event train.
• Stocking and merchandising gift shop items; helps with displays.
• Opens and closes museum facilities and records attendance as needed.
