Job summary

City Museum in St. Louis seeks a Floor Staff and Facilities Supervisor to manage daily operations of the Floor Staff and Facilities departments, ensuring smooth guest flow and top-notch service.

You will schedule staff, enforce museum rules, assist guests with attractions, and maintain a safe, clean environment. The role requires weekend and holiday availability and the ability to work in varied conditions while providing friendly, efficient customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assign staff to daily positions, establish attracting rotations/schedules for daily staff.
• Close and lock-up museum daily.
• Friendly approach to customer service by greeting each guest they encounter.
• Maintain knowledge of and consistently enforce the rules and regulations of the museum (including attraction requirements such as height restrictions, weight restrictions, proper riding position, etc.).
• Assist customers in safely riding attractions.
• Communicate with management and other employees, including use of two-way radios.
• Be attentive at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees.
• Provide superior guest service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner.
• Assist customers with all questions regarding City Museum including facility layout and amenities.
• Maintain knowledge of the rules and regulations of the museum (including attraction requirements such as height restrictions, weight restrictions, proper riding position, etc.).
• Perform zone walk through and ensure zones are maintained to museum standards.
• Follow all museum policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
