Job summary

UPMC is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform advanced imaging and ensure MR safety, supporting multiple units. Weekend duties run 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with 24 hours per weekend and a 2-year commitment.

Candidates need 3+ years MRI experience, ARRT/ARMRIT MR certification, CPR/BLS, and an AMA Radiologic Technology degree. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 2-year commitment, plus a 15% incentive on weekend pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of MRI experience required.
• ARRT or ARMRIT MR Certification required; CPR/BLS as per AHA standards.
• CPR/CPR certification required within 30 days of hire?
• Act 31/33/34/73 clearances renewal as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs all Level II Advanced MRI Technologist responsibilities and MR safety.
• Creates and implements training programs; assist with offsite locations startup.
• Leads training on techniques, protocols and software; collaborates with radiologists and researchers.
• Leads tech quality assurance and updates protocols; trains staff on new equipment.
• Attends advanced training and supports accreditation activities.
• Acts as a technical resource and supports continuing education.
