Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Level II Advanced MRI Technologist for weekend coverage in Hanover, PA. The role includes performing advanced MRI procedures, ensuring MR safety, and documenting patient information per standard operating procedures.

The position requires a minimum of six months' MRI experience, with Saturday-Sunday shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The program offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus, a 15% incentive on the hourly rate, and full benefits for weekend staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in MRI technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs Level II Advanced MRI procedures and MR safety; documents patient information per SOPs.
• Develops training programs and assists with startup of offsite locations; communicates with physicians and staff.
• Leads training on new techniques, protocols, and software; collaborates with radiologists and researchers.
• Responsible for the tech quality assurance program and updates protocols; mentors staff.
• Attends advanced training sessions to maintain industry standards and informs leadership.
• Assists with accreditation responsibilities and ensures safety tests and equipment performance are documented.
